So, why do people even allow cops? When did we first get cops, anyway? I'd like to know that. Probably started in NYC. Do YOU need a gang of armed psychos who are above the law to keep you in line? I don't. Many will say it's the other guy that needs to be kept in line (I'm good, he's bad!). Well, you agree to an armed brotherhood (may as well be the Mafia or Crips or Bloods) to lord it over you, this is the inevitable result. Cops protect the corporations (cities) they work for, not you.
Get rid of cops. Detectives I can see for investigating crime after the fact. Sheriff departments are entirely different. Sheriffs are elected to serve the people.
