120. Now that the Canadian government has put in place penalties for rail shippers...

re the transport of wheat, hopefully the oil companies' bids won't be so influential. Yes, Keystone XL IS being astroturfed by Transcanada Pipelines and their supporters but it is becoming more and more obvious and much less effective.

It seems Enbridge and Transcanada are running into difficulty with their wish to expand the pipelines east and west of the tar sand projects. Good.

As rail transport becomes more expensive for the oil companies to use and the price of oil plummets, the less dirty oil will be brought to the surface and that's a good thing.

The Canadian government would serve it's citizens better if it focused less on the energy sector for Canada's economic well being and focused more on diversifying the economy, support manufacturing, research and development of alternative energy projects, etc.
