I had to laugh at your PS.

Somewhere in my things I have a picture my grandfather cut out of a magazine for me when I was a tiny tot. A sweet picture of a golden retriever puppy that looked very much like the one in the picture with the kittens in the bucket.

What makes me laugh is that many years later when I was a young adult I saw an ad for the American Humane Society with a picture that was very familiar. It was the same photo that my grandfather had cut out to give me over twenty years earlier. No way was that golden retriever puppy still alive but the AHS was still using his adorableness to raise money.

I don't remember kittens in a bucket, but if I find that photo, I'll have to look to see if it is the same puppy.
