(4,012 posts)God bless all who put their time & effort into this difficult endeavor.
This wasn't easy, we had to (as a young movement) build this from the ground up. They put so much of their time & effort into this one day...awesome people.
My mind is still swimming with all that happened in L.A. alone.
Coming out of Union Station to meet the other winds was anxiety-ridden for those of us involved in coordinating M1GS. Would we make it to downtown without police interference? What would downtown look like, would there be enough people? And to come out of Union Station to be greeted by thousands of people was inspiring. They even had a line of high-fives waiting for us as we arrived, with music and festivities abound. The whole day was a beautiful display of people power.
I haven't even uploaded my pics yet, but I will share them soon.
Thank you all so much for making this a day to remember.
Peace, Love & Solidarity
