I do want to point out, though, that DU will give your state a pass for the most part. Don't expect to see many DUers inventing insulting versions of your state's name that get used again and again. Don't expect to see as many uninformed broadbrush attacks on your region. You're in the north. It's a given in the minds of most here that your brand of republicanism isn't nearly as bad as it is for those of us in the southern and central states. We're still the favorites to be whipped.

I also find it odd that I'm one of the few calling for a stronger union to these United States more often than I see from those angry types that just want to cause a global crisis by forcing us out of the union. Sure. Let's break up the country and crash the whole system in a way none of us can truly imagine
