There were people that lived a couple houses over, they had this black cat Shadow. I know her name, because one of their kids told me. They had two kids elementary aged.

Anywho, maybe 5 months ago I saw they moved. Well a few weeks after that I'm getting ready to leave for work and I open the front door to Shadow sitting on my porch with 5 kittens. THEY HAD THIS CAT FOR YEARS! YEARS!!!! So not only did they not get their cat spayed, they left their kid's let behind! SMH

That's where all the freaking kittens have been coming from! Grrrrrrr

So, I found homes for the kittens and then Shadow was fixed the next week (and ear tipped) and I let her go. She still hangs out around that same house with the new owners.

I had another cat show up last week with babies. I'm hoping to trap her next week to get fixed. (The kittens got homes).

Some people buy into the feral argument, I think. That cats, especially, can live without people. freshwest May 2015 #6
