(10,201 posts)Both of these guys... Samuel L. Catson, and Loki are rescues.
Sammy, we adopted at about 3 weeks old. He was too young to rescue, but his mommy was gone and he needed help. Besides, at the rescue he would not leave me alone. I call him my cuddle-buddy. We curl up together every night. He does however like to bite a little, and he over-eats. Ok... He eats a lot. We call him slobo. He will devour his food so fast, that he pukes, then he's right back to stuffing his face.
Loki was a different rescue. We got him at 3 years old. We call him Houdini. Given the opportunity, he will make an escape attempt. He came from a family, who could no longer keep him. Their newborn was allergic. His name is quite apt. At every opportunity he will attempt to cause chaos... Break a lamp, jump on my crotch (claws out), stare at the closet and growl, turn on the garbage disposal... at 2AM... while I'm watching Saw IV.
Anyhoo... Id like to think that for every asshole who pulls this shit, are two folks who do care.
Here they are, contiplating the universe...
