26. Yeah. WOW ...

Refusing to support a candidate is NOT mounting a primary challenge ... the latter is moving us in a positive direction to our goals; while the former is not/cannot move us in a positive direction.

The latter can/will get us more legislators that will do what we want on 90+% of the issues we are concerned with; while the former, will get us legislators that will do what we want on 0-10% of the issues we are concerned with.

The latter will allow those candidates that do thing we do not like to ignore DFA and seek more financing/support from "the 1%"; while the former, will force those candidates that do thing we do not like to pay attention to DFA.

So yeah ... WOW ... that comment is not very strategic for a former Party Chair-person.
