1. Why aren't men demanding equal pay for their wives?

Their families lose money if the wives get paid less. Men might have to work longer hours to earn enough money to make up the difference just because women are being paid less. There's less money in the bank, and less money available to buy things and improve their standard of living. Women are the largest segment of workers so this is billions $$$ of lost income that keeps families from living a better life.
