take to persuade one of them to reconsider would be a lot more trouble than it's worth.

My preferred outcome would be for voters in November to bury Trump alive and drag every obstructing asshole down-ballot Republican with him.

And for people to tell the networks in exit polling, "I voted Democratic, because there was no way I'm voting for an obstructing asshole Republican up or down the ballot."
