2. I think we should just write off the extreme leftists making an issue of this and pivot right.

They've proved their unreliability after being given their pound of flesh now that they are demanding more.

It's not worth it when there are millions in the middle who reliably vote every election, and we'll need those votes come 2018, so just throw the miscreants overboard and move on.
