Well I declared war on a relative who whined about The War on Christmas

63. I'm more of a jackass.....

I tell them real Christians don't celebrate Christmas and yes its in the Bible. I whip out these two versus:

Jeremiah 10

[2] Thus says the LORD: "Learn not the way of the nations,
nor be dismayed at the signs of the heavens
because the nations are dismayed at them,
[3] for the customs of the peoples are false.
A tree from the forest is cut down,
and worked with an axe by the hands of a craftsman.
[4] Men deck it with silver and gold;
they fasten it with hammer and nails
so that it cannot move.


Then I get the usual mumbo jumbo about it being in the Old Testament, so I hit them with this:

Revelation 11

[7] And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends from the bottomless pit will make war upon them and conquer them and kill them,
[8] and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which is allegorically called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified.
[9] For three days and a half men from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in a tomb,
[10] and those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry and exchange presents, because these two prophets had been a torment to those who dwell on the earth.
