93. The GOP is always looking for a rallying cry.

The "Happy Holidays" (what the fuck sentence can sound more innocent?) is just another.

The GOP really don't give a flying fuck about any of these rallying cries. They use them to get some low/mid income people on their side.

It worked on my mom. I didn't know at that time (about 15 years ago), but my mother was a Fox News abuser. She left it on all day. And I believe that was about the time those freaks came up with the anti-Happy-Holidays idea. One of the first things my mom said to me when I came over for Christmas about 15 years ago was: "Isn't it terrible how people are saying anti-Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas?"

I was speechless. My jaw probably dropped. I had no idea what she meant: even Bing Crosby sang a great song called "Happy Holidays" back in the 40's—and we grew up listening to it on our parents turntable.

It was years later that I found out about this bull shit Happy Holidays thing, and it rang a bell.

I really hope there is an after-life, and that these bastards who work day and night on brain washing people to believe bull shit so they can make money, fry in a large, hot, black frying pan.
