Not only is it a lethal poison, it's flammable: according to https://www.mathesongas.com/pdfs/products/Lower-(LEL)-&-Upper-(UEL)-Explosive-Limits-.pdf, only acetylene and hydrogen have a wider range of flammable concentrations in air.
