I hadn't read your post until after I posted my own and
confess I did not read carefully, my own edit was a kneejerk.
I feel defensive of Obama, I've noticed lately, with so much
rampant negativity & so many lies. I see a man with enormous
integrity, a very active conscience, a brilliant mind, the best of
intentions. A man who checks in with himself all the time, who is
not afraid to be wrong and admit it; who will not stoop to the
levels of his detractors no matter how tempting it might be,
who has a family which should serve as a role model for anybody;
and who unfortunately must play the game of politics, make
concessions; who unfortunately but humanly has made errors
in judgement and disappointed people; but he learns as he
goes, and he evolves very quickly in my opinion. Not to mention
he has assumed the most difficult job perhaps in the universe.
People who see him as cowardly are projecting; in my view
he's one of the bravest people on the planet.
