3. Does anyone know what the federal statute of limitation is on sexual assault/attempted rape?

Or is that not illegal at the federal level?

The opening sentences conflate two separate questions: is there a potential federal crime contained within the accusation, and does the nominee have stuff in their background which poses a national security risk.

But whatever the answer is to the first part, in the case of the second part the answer is clearly YES.

Because, you know, TRYING TO RAPE GIRLS is what some funny-talking foreigners call "kompromat."
