1. The 7 day moving average of new U.S. cases has also reached an all-time-high

69,814 cases, exceeding the previous mid-July peak. So it's not just an outlier one day or two day spike kinda thing.

It's also important because every graph I've seen of U.S. new cases has a bold line (usually red) showing the 7 day moving average. Well that line, at last, for the first time, is higher than the last peak which was in July.
