it's not simply paying off the debt of people who borrowed excessively. there are plenty of details linked in the article explaining the hows and whys of the changes, such as doing away with accrued interest by retroactively changing the rules for forbearance, etc.

this really should not have you swearing mad at Biden and borrowers, Bro.
