Pope Francis calls choice between Trump and Harris a choice between 'lesser evils'

Pope Francis tells US Catholics their choice is between whichever they think is the 'lesser evil'.

Asked about the U.S. presidential election on his flight back to Rome from Singapore, the pope said not welcoming migrants is a "grave" sin, and likened having an abortion to an "assassination".

On Friday, Francis said both candidates' policies are "against life. "Whether it is the one who is chasing away migrants, or the one who that kills children," said the pope. "Both are against life."

IMO this is rich coming from the church that sheltered pedos and made all Nice-Nice with Hitler while he put priests in concentration camps.

What a shame, that even a Pope hailed as being progressive will not stand against evil. BTW, God condones abortion as a test of infidelity in Numbers 5:11-31. Tells you how to administer it and everything.

(Edit) I also find it disappointing that a Jesuit would chose to equivocate in this way instead of speaking against fascism.
