.... YANDS: Yet another nuisance defamation suit.... I can't remember which one, there have been so many... Where it was ruled that some innocuous statement, like "he introduced her to him", even if not true, does not become defamatory simply based on the reputations of he, him, or her.

I think that is on point in this case.
