400 were laid off thanks to Muskrat's DOGE pile of shit, and as of this past May, another 2,700 had planned to leave, with an estimate of an additional 20% - 30% (of non-exempt staff) who had been considering and/or are going through the process of enrolling in the Deferred Retirement Program.

These were NOT the ATCs (who they are having trouble hiring, with new recruits continually failing the tests and upwards of 20% who never complete the training).

So good luck with having anything "highly regulated" (which was the whole point of destroying every federal agency).

You saw the fiasco earlier this year with the confusion around the drone sightings in various states (a number them most likely unauthorized).
