Where I live these young men who work in food delivery are some of the few people I see in my relatively quiet life and they are always sweet kids or nice older men.

It’s a pretty hard life I would imagine. And worst case unsafe-though I hope not that. I wonder what kind of job security they have.

I saw something called an Amazon associates program. I mean it’s bs, because PR for giants is but I figure eh..if it isn’t pure bs, I hope these kids get something out of it. It’s like religious dietary restrictions-if the animals get a break that way fine by me .

Besides with the growing surveillance state, sousveillance by the not yet pacified means that customers who wish their delivery kids/men well whatever one’s views on the giants can do what little one can. Which is hopefully an incentive to treat your employees better where they deliver to locations with wary consumers. (I am waiting for Andreessen to shill that as a new kind of union almost! With no irony).

I worry sometimes that my private (and so far entirely inept ;-/ ) war against the system can make people like that in-between collateral damage. I imagine delivering here would be a chronic stress if your boss was a jerk ;-/. I really hope not. It shouldn’t be. I am not stupid or crazy just inept.

I do wonder what kind of future our dimwitted and cosily insulated elites are building. A shitty one is my uhh educated guess.
