25. Not the worst proposal

The H1 ans it stands now is a mess. It has been abused, and while there is definitely some great talent on the visa, a constant influx is definitely not needed as unemployment is rising. We’re facing challenges as it with AI eating away at tech jobs.

I’d prefer those already in line for a green card however, have it expedited since the backlog is ridiculous and in my opinion unjust, while phasing out the existing program.

I disagree with her about sending those back right away who have been here legally for many years (some well over a decade) . But I think some of them can also be give a more exclusive visa if their talent permits.
