Once you pick a partner it is not easy to switch?
Are you stuck with them?

Why don't you look around and find a better partner?

It is interesting how clueless some players are.
One gal in particular just talked the entire game about nonsense.
It was hard to concentrate with her incessant chatter.
But she was still able to play a reasonable game without actually paying much attention at all.
And even won occasionally.

One day I looked at her and said, you know Suzy if you got serious about this game you could
win every round, every time. You could even beat those of us who win all the time.
She looked shocked like she had never considered this before.
Next week she came and settled down and played a real game.

All of that said, I have no problem with people who just come to socialize.
I just think they should be in a different group from the competitive players.

I was also surprise at the number of people who show up to the book clubs
and don't actually read the book. Or don't come prepared to say anything about the book.
