What the US and its "coalition of the willing" did in Iraq was truly a crime against humanity: launched a military invasion on false pretenses, prosecuted an aggressive war that killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and destroyed that country, and then opened the place to exploitation by private contractors with political ties to the (Bush-Cheney) regime while we occupied Iraq for nearly a decade.

We've done far, far worse, and nobody has been held responsible.
