(761 posts)57. I think the term "progressive" has lost any clarity of meaning.
Back in the mid-80's/early 90's the last thing the DLCers wanted to be called was progressive and liberal. Now that same crowd wants everyone to know they're progressive and liberal.
Since this thread like so many is overly reductionist, I'll offer this reductionist view of the electorate.
Only the irrationally angry and insane would vote for Trump.
Only the cynical and defeatist would vote for Clinton.
I'll save you some typing - you can't wait for the 16th.
