Simply ignore the whole debt ceiling kabuki dance and instruct the Treasury to continue paying the bills. The Constitution mandates that the government will always pay its bills so any law to the contrary is unconstitutional, QED.

Fourteenth Amendment, Section 4: The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned.

Then begin a massive public awareness campaign against the Republicans accusing them of attempting to destroy the economy by refusing to raise the debt ceiling. Let's see how McTurtle likes wearing that shoe.
