Ukraine would be better served to stir up European allies to replace the US in the continent entirely.
The EU should find a way to return the UK and form a solid block that opposes Putin and Trump and helps bring about a trilateral world order where they confront and neutralize Putin, and allow the Chinese to finish off the dying USA. Once the USA bankrupts, they need to have a unified presence to secure the nuclear arsenal and do so more effectively than following the break-up of the Soviet Union.

The formerly United States are really only a slight shove away from dissolving the union and leading to utter chaos. The EU would be wise to recognize it for what it is - the end of the American Empire - and plan accordingly.
