as a traditional Republican. He may not be on board with all of the Wall St give aways. It seems to me he is more of a religious zealot and authoritarian populist type. His agenda may at times be at odds with the "old" party. I think if he ran for president he would be scary because he would take positions like this to peel off a lot of the working poor who are otherwise evangelical, xenophobic, homophobic etc.
