Thank you for grabbing the context, greyl. The nation has been gun crazy, at home and abroad, forever. There was a short time when we thought there were better approaches to our problems. JFK kept the peace, prevented the Joint Chiefs from launching World War III more than once, integrated the FBI and Secret Service, made the federal government respect the rights of all citizens, and got us started to the moon. I bring it up because it is my hope, as I believe it is yours, that we return to that path one day, sooner rather than when it's too late.
