Did I hear that right? This is what's on the horizon for the Dems?

I hate to say it but the Dems share to a considerable extent in the blame for Trump. After so many years when the Dems promise to do something real, something that people really want (or if the Dems would explain and push for what they would like if they understood what it involved) like single payer (or public option) or a higher minimum wage or a jobs program, etc., etc. (God forbid they should try to do something that the American people want and that Dems have traditionally fought for) and end up folding or completely ignorning their constituency and going along with the policies that the super-rich 1% want and not the 99%, people get angry and a certain percentage of the electorate settle on a nut job because he's the only one out there that will give voice to their frustration even if that guy is a serial liar, a criminal who should be in prison, a sexual predator, a misogynist, a racist, and a totally amoral idiot with the self control of a 2 year old.
