of both parties with distinction either quit, are reassigned to menial jobs, or forced out by a sudden unexplained relocation of their offices and labs halfway across the country on a moment's notice. In every case, the institutional knowledge that person possesses disappears. It's clear that it's part of the purge of the government that Trump relishes. He either leaves the spots empty or appoints a lackey to serve as "acting" supervisor, since that doesn't require scrutiny by the Senate (not that that makes any difference, given the make up of Moscow Mitch's boys choir, who will sing whatever they're told to sing).

It is going to take decades to undo the damage Fat Donnie has done to the country in less than three years. Some of the damage -- opening the Tongass National Forest to clear cut logging and mineral extraction -- will never heal.

Also, we will most likely never reclaim our place as leader of the free world.

And then there are the effects of his climate denying. That will affect the lives of our grandchildren and their grandchildren.

And the MAGAts still support him. WTF?
