Sure - what Newt said was and is outrageous. But is it REALLY that bad a thing for this country??? We've been going around under a cloud of unspoken hatred for decades - centuries even. The racist hatred - JUST under a veil of political correctness buffered by civil rights laws - has been kept in less than effective wrappings. We can legislate it until we run out of ink, and there's STILL going to be the stench of racial hatred that's been fostered ever since the first Africans were brought here and bought here.
So - lets just fully unwrap the putrifying mess and see what's really causing the stink. Let's see the racists without their white robes providing them anonymity. Let's hear what they really think, so we can have a good laugh at the doltishness of their hate-filled blather. Maybe having a serving black president is the perfect time for this onerous unveiling. Show us what a "compassionate CONservative" really looks like. Are they folks who parcel out compassion in exchange for a ticket to heaven, or do they extend it because they see the recipients as human and they perceive themselves to be?
Newt's comments and the standing ovation? Just a group Macaca moment as an in-your-face gesture. With Newt in the White House, and Boehner in the House, we maybe will see a first real Republican jobs bill passed. One that would create jobs for predominantly whiter contractors - building new public drinking fountains and "facilities" for blacks. The toilets having coin-operated door latches on them so there's money to pay kids to clean them.
