3. That's pretty much my situation.

I loved LiveJournal, I thought it was a beautiful platform. When Facebook came along with it's edu snobbery I was like,
"No. Thanks. Ew. And the interface is UGLY!"

But yeah. There it is.

For the work account I friended and was friended by about 500,000 Nigerians.
I have enjoyed scrolling through and looking at their birthday parties, I must be honest. And people are so nice to each other on Nigerian facebook. US Facebook doesn't get a curiosity scroll.
