It takes the current cultural obsession with gender norms, and turns it inside out, playfully, manifesting through some of the most famous people in popular culture, and other people far less so.

And really, while a fair number of the people invited are very well off financially, many are just...not. And because all invitees must be approved by Anna Wintour, no one can just buy their way into the Met Gala.

After all, it's not Mar-a-lago!
