The County Park Ranger managed to wave us off before we continued on that way, blissfully unknowing what lay ahead. We were late in the afternoon for our daily walk--far too late apparently...

Still, I think mountain lions are just about the most beautiful of the big cats--not that they don't have competition--but I just love them!
