My Dad had put in one of those air conditioners you could do yourself. It leaked everywhere and he was good at that stuff but we tied small things to collect the water, it too was disaster but I HAD A CAR!! I had only 2 stations I could get but they were Top 40! I accidentally drove it into a ditch with 6 of us skipping Band. It was a mess but the nice guys who pulled us out apparently never called my parents. LOL SISTER!

Great post , Basso8vb. We had a Beetle too, I couldn't get the system of the stick together . The Impala was not stick .

Used 1957 Ford Fairlane with an 8-ball gearshift knob, baby moons, chrome exhaust extension, etc. It was a tank.
