This gluten free white flour that one can buy is expensive and it's definitely price gouging. I don't really have a choice with being gluten free but I've accepted it.

My almond flour is a one pound bag for almost $7.00. However my almond flour is also low carb besides gluten free.

Not everything needs to be a special overpriced product. I've been making Keto mousse with the main ingredient being blended cottage cheese. These Keto Chaffles that I made this week didn't require anything expensive or special either, just a waffle iron.

I'm also in a 40 pound weight deficit since beginning Keto. I started not long after January 20, 2021. I do struggle with some weight gain in the winter but I think it's common with most people and I always lose it in the summer.

My entire maternal side of my family are all Diabetics. So everyone who is a Diabetic in my family spends money on trying to control their glucose levels with prescribed Diabetes medications. It's a constant struggle for them. I know it's also a struggle for them to eat correctly too. Everyone generally wants sweets and treats.

I figure if there's a chance lowering my weight now, maybe, just maybe it'll be less of a chance that I might get Diabetes later in life.

I most likely won't get that lucky but here I am trying to avoid it with some preventative measures.
