Sgt. Peppers was another, so were CCR - Cosmo's Factory The Beach Boys - Endless Summer.

I've heard and loved way too much music over the course of my lifetime to make any sort of exhaustive list, but I'll list a few that pop immediately to mind that I've continued revisiting a lot over my life.

Artists (generally):
Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Beatles/Lennon/McCartney, Elton John, Eagles, Grateful Dead, Yes, Fleetwood Mac, Big Star, Talking Heads, Jason Isbell, Steve Earle, Lyle Lovett, Uncle Tupelo, Wilco, Spoon, The Cure, U2, REM, INXS, The Replacements, Crowded House, John Mayer, The Revivalists, Lucinda Williams, Indigo Girls, Prince, Springsteen, Dylan, Dire Straits

Specific Albums:
Pearl Jam - first 3 albums
Temple of the Dog - Temple of the Dog
Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger, Superunknown
Radiohead - The Bends, OK Computer
Grant Lee Buffalo - Fuzzy, Mighty Joe Moon
Third Eye Blind - Third Eye Blind, Blue, Out of the Vein
Smashing Pumpkins - Gish, Siamese Dream
The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin, Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
The Black Crowes - Shake Your Money Maker, Southern Harmony
Matthew Sweet - Girlfriend, 100% Fun
Jeff Buckley - Grace
The Decemberists - The King is Dead
Son Volt - Trace, Wide Swing Tremolo
