18. We had one dog who chased bottle rockets

We had to keep him in the house if we shot them off. We only got fireworks that one year. My Mom had a place beside ours and she had a St. Bernard that had seizures if there was noise. So we never got in the habit.

Except for that one dog, the other pets we had were scared silly.
