The smartest people I've ever met were those who listened and spoke when they had something to say. I always knew who the BSer's were because they continuously talked with little to say. In meetings, when I needed information I'd observe who were the talkers and who were the listeners and after the meeting I'd talk to the listeners to get the information I needed.
