7. One of the places I stayed in Vegas...

I can't even remember the name of the place now- too many years of referring to it as the Roach Motel. It was on Paradise across from the Hard Rock. The place was filthy. The carpets were dirty and, in some rooms, moldy as well. It smelled. The beds sank (not sagged, sank) in the middle and the porcelain in the bathroom was stained in all the spots that weren't broken. And there were roaches. Lots of roaches. This was where my then- 15 month old son learned to say the word "bug".

The place was condemned and torn down in 98 or 99, and good riddance to it.
