(68,644 posts)5. I do both, I've taken up oatmeal every morning and an apple a day, or two.
I've been playing with mixing steel cut oats with quaker minute oats half and half, they say the former are better for you.
And none of the flavored stuff for me, I like unflavored oats and then put a handful of frozen blueberries into the bowl.
Yum!
I haven't had my blood panel done lately, but I should.
