33. I spent most of my childhood

in the NE and I heard Sofa, Davenport, Divan and couch back in the late 50s to mid sixties. It seemed to depend on the style and size and maybe which room it was in. A Davenport, in our house, was a hide-away kind of thing where a divan was more like a fainting couch and sofa and couch seemed to be determined by it's fabric quality and room it was in with couch being the more casual of the two.

Could be different, I'm going on a memory from quite some time ago. Now, I don't have one of those things.
