These pieces are a base piece of clear glass, a top piece of white glass, and spearish shaped pieces of black glass with an iridescent coating on them. I lay them out in the pattern/design I want and then fire them in a kiln to between 1400 and 1500 degrees. That creates a flat piece with the pattern which is then heated in the kiln again until is starts to drop/fold into the shape I'm trying to create.
