Do you have a favorite song from a band's worst album? [View all]

Not interested in the least shitty song on shitty albums. Rather I'm looking for good songs on shit albums...

Like this one,

Final Frontier was arguably the worst Iron Maiden record - Although, IMHO, it isn't.

BTW, Virtual XI isn't either, it missed badly but went down punching.

So, despite the universal hatred of XI, I think the X Factor was the worst. The album sounded sad, disinterested, bloated, and tired. Also, It has no candidates for this list = Worst Maiden album. It's science

I love a couple songs from the Doobie Brothers "Minute by Minute", But figuring out which one was best forced me to listen to the whole record (Because my memory is untrustworthy) just reinforced my low opinion. Worst DB record.

BUT, there are two great songs here that aren't over produced dreck or weren't beaten to death by FM radio

This one calls back to the old Doobies, but still sat in the groove this record was trying to establish.
The track honestly should have been a single... But if it'd been a hit, and it easily could've been, I'd probably hate it now

If you know me, you just nodding to yourself right about now. Even if you don't know the cut, if you know me here in DU MA you'll get it 1-5 seconds into the record

Just kidding, - that song is cool for a minute then it gets very repetitive. Bluegrass songs need to nimbly string together strong takes on the melody to maintain momentum.
That one does not, and that's embarrassing coming from the band who released "Black Watter" just a few years earlier.

I mean this one

Anyway - Got any hidden gems on albums you would never recommend?
