Saturday

in January of 1992. Soundgarden opened. Chris Cornell was on point, but the rest of the band was off, so they didn’t make a great impression on me. Axl was only 45 minutes late and G’N’R played for almost 3 hours. This was shortly after Gilby Clarke replaced Izzy Stradlin. “November Rain” was especially epic that night.
