such as Kamala Harris, Ruben Gallego, and others. She also supported a proposal to help the homeless which is also being used against her but a majority of the city council supported that plan so that isn't the main reason like the endorsements.

I think the last mayor of Mesa who is a Republican also endorsed Kamala Harris. I live in Mesa myself but not her district and most people here including the Republicans aren't Trump-like nationalists but they do exist in the East Valley.
