BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Bryan Kohberger is set to be sentenced in court after admitting to killing four University of Idaho students in November 2022.

After more than two and a half years of legal proceedings and preparations for a capital murder trial, Kohberger changed his plea to avoid the death penalty. At a plea change hearing held earlier this month, Kohberger pleaded guilty to murdering Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves in their off-campus home near the University of Idaho.
