Two charged with running illegal, large-scale cannabis growing operation in Wayne County [View all]
Walworth, N.Y. (WHAM) Two men have been charged with manufacturing and possessing with intent to distribute thousands of marijuana plants in Wayne County following a multi-agency investigation.
In January, the Drug Enforcement Administration began investigating a large-scale illegal marijuana cultivation operation on Daansen Road in Walworth after a complaint was filed, according to prosecutors.
Investigators determined Ferrydoon Ardehali, 55, of Staten Island, and Colby Riggle, 37, of California, were running the operation under the name "Integrity Farms & Greenhouses, Inc." and selling cannabis to several authorized growing facilities in New York, including in North Tonawanda, Niagara County and Clarence, Erie County.
Integrity Farms & Greenhouses, Inc. both were reportedly never issued a state license to grow marijuana, according to the criminal complaint and the New York State Office of Cannabis Management.
